Does Medicare Part D have you confused?

No need to worry as the pharmacists at all four Nash Drugs locations (Hillsdale, Jonesville, Hillsdale Market Pharmacy and Long Term Care – Nash Drugs) will sit down with you to help you find a plan that best fits your prescription and financial needs.

Our pharmacists will explain how the Medicare Part D Prescription Benefit is designed to work and determine your approximate monthly expenses.  This is easily done by using a software program provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services website and knowing the medications you are currently taking.Even when you already are enrolled and using a Medicare Part D prescription plan, annual reviews are extremely important because each year the Part D plans revise the medications they will cover, change premium and copay costs and may even become non-existent, leaving you with a plan that may not provide the best coverage for the prescriptions you currently are taking.

Prior to turning 65 years of age or anytime you plan on going on Medicare, you will need to call and make an appointment with a Nash pharmacist to review your options, so you will be enrolled and active with a plan when you need it.
